In this tab you can assign authorization sets, user groups and catalogs to the company. For purchasing companies, you can also assign conditions.
Only the elements that you assign in this tab can be assigned to users belonging to this company in their user profile. Assigned catalogs are automatically assigned to all users of the company.
Note: A company administrator who is assigned to a specific company can only assign catalogs to that company. The remaining assignments must be done by a company administrator for all companies.
Assigning elements
To assign elements, select them in the Available list and click the icon .
To remove elements, select them in the Assigned list and click the icon .

Note: Elements that are automatically assigned by the system are displayed in grey text and cannot be manually removed from the Assigned list. Elements that you assign yourself are displayed in black text and can be removed.
Authorization sets
In this section, you can assign authorization sets to the company. Authorization sets determine which functions of the system users can access. Only the authorization sets that you transfer to the Assigned authorizations list can be used by users belonging to this company.
By default, all authorizations sets that are available within the system are automatically assigned to the company and displayed in the Assigned authorizations list in grey text. To change the assigned authorizations, select one of the following options:

Deactivate this check box if you do not want to assign all available authorization sets to the company. The authorization sets are removed from the Assigned authorizations list. You can now manually assign individual authorization sets. If this option is activated, all authorization sets are displayed in the Available authorizations list. If you are creating a subsidiary company, the authorization sets that have been assigned to the parent company are automatically assigned to the subsidiary company. Activate this check box if you do not want the subsidiary company to inherit the authorization sets of its parent company. The parent company's authorization sets are removed from the Assigned authorizations list. You can now manually assign individual authorization sets to the subsidiary company. |
User groups
In this section, you can assign user groups to the company. User groups make it easier to assign catalogs to several users. All users belonging to a user group can use all catalogs that are assigned to the user group. Only the user groups that you transfer to the Assigned user groups can be assigned to users belonging to this company in their user profile.
By default, all user groups that have been created for the current company or its parent company are automatically assigned and displayed in the Assigned user groups list. User groups of the parent company are displayed in grey text.
If you do not want the subsidiary company to inherit the user groups of its parent company, activate the check box Parent company's user groups are not automatically inherited. The parent company's user groups are removed from the Assigned user groups list. You can now manually assign individual authorization sets to the subsidiary company.
Catalogs
In this section, you can assign catalogs to the company. In the Available catalogs list, all catalogs that are available to the company are displayed. Catalogs are made available to a company by assigning the company to the catalog when it is imported in to Impact Ordering. The catalogs that you transfer to the Assigned user groups are automatically assigned to users belonging to this company in their user profile. You can change the assignments for individual users in the Groups tab of the user profile.
By default, all catalogs that are available to the current company or its parent company are automatically assigned and displayed in the Assigned catalogs list. Catalogs of the parent company are displayed in grey text.

Conditions
In this section, you can assign conditions to the company. Conditions, such as discounts, surcharges and supplier costs, are created before the basic contracts for use later in the basic contract . When creating the conditions, you can specify companies or individual users that are shown the conditions based on the assignment in the framework contract. Users with the right to edit basic contracts and conditions belong to the Purchasers security group.
The available and the assigned conditions are displayed in the companies and also in the user profile to allow you to edit the assignment also. Further conditions (for display in the basic contract) can be assigned here or conditions that have already been assigned can be withdrawn.
