DB2 database update (scheduled task)

This task reorganises the DB2 database, recreates the indexes and re-analyses the database statistics in order to speed up access to the database.

Parameters

Parameter	Description
Number of days	The number of days of use after which the database should be reorganised automatically (0.1 to 30 days).
Percentage change	The percentage change in the database above which the database should be reorganised automatically (suggested: 5 – 50%).

Write activities to log file

Writes the reorganisation log to the log file.

Recommended execution interval

When using a DB2 database and depending on the use of the system once every 1 to 4 weeks.
