Preferences (default settings) for product coding

Coding for a purchasing company is activated with a default entry. Coding is deactivated without an entry (default). Only one entry may exist for one company. You can find further information on product coding under Product coding.

1. On the page Catalog administration click the link Preferences Product codings.

   The page Preferences product coding is displayed.

2. Click:
   • the button New entry to enter a new preference/default entry
   • the icon   to edit an entry
3. The page Preferences product coding is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.
4. Enter the name of the company for which you want to enter a preference / default entry.
5. Activate the option Coding enabled.
6. If the coding shall also be valid for subordinated companies of the selected company, activate the option Coding gets handed down to subcompanies.
7. To make it possible to send orders for not encoded products to suppliers, activate the option Send orders even without encoding.
8. In the section Settings, you enter the necessary settings. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about the settings.
9. Click the button Save.
