User profile - Formats tab

On this tab, you can enter and edit the following information for a user:

Note: Users can also change these settings in their profile.

Addresses

In this section, you can enter a contact address and recipient address for the user. See Address types and Address - Details for more information about addresses.

Option

Description

Recipient address is identical to contact address

Activate this option if the contact and recipient addresses are identical. If this option is activated, you only have to enter or edit the contact address. The Recipient address option is disabled.

Contact address

Select this option to enter a default contact address for the user. If you have not yet entered a contact address, you have to display the address fields first. Activate the option New address: show input fields. Enter the address details in the Location section. See Address - Details for more information on the fields in this section.

Recipient address

Select this option to enter a default recipient address for the user. If you have not yet entered a recipient address, you have to display the address fields first. Activate the option New address: show input fields. Enter the address details in the Location section. See Address - Details for more information on the fields in this section.

Note: If you activate the option User is not allowed to edit recipient address on the Master data tab, the user can only view the recipient address that you have specified here and cannot change it.

Handover address

This option is only displayed if the Show the handover address to user option is activated on the Master data tab.

Click this icon to assign an existing address to the user. You can select any address that has been assigned to the company or companies for which you are company administrator and that has the attribute Contact address (if you are assigning a contact address) or Recipient address (if you are assigning a recipient address).

Find the address that you want to use and click the icon to add the address to the user profile.

All addresses button

Click this button to view a list of all addresses to which you have access. In the Overview tab or Owned addresses tab, you can create new addresses.
