Basket - Positions tab

This tab displays a list of all items in your basket, unless the basket is empty. See Creating and filling baskets for more information on baskets.

Information about the basket

Field	Description
Name	A name is automatically assigned to the basket when the basket is created. You can change this name. ^Date and ^Time are placeholders that are converted to the current date and time when you order the basket.
Number	An unique number is automatically assigned to the basket when the basket is created. You cannot change this number.
	The basket is active. Products that you select in the catalog are added to this basket. Click the button Deactivate to deactivate the basket.
	The basket is inactive. Click the button Activate to activate the basket.

Information about the basket items

Column	Description
	Click this icon to remove the sort order. See Sorting baskets for more information on sorting.
	Click this check box to select items
	Click this icon to view detailed information about the item.
Pos.	The position number of the items is determined by the order in which they were added to the basket.
and other icons	The icons indicate differences between the address or accounting information for the item and the entire basket. When you position the mouse cursor over the icons, a tooltip displaying detailed information about the differences is displayed.
	Click this icon next to an item to remove the icon from the basket. To remove several items, select the items and click the icon below the selection check boxes.
Amount	Required quantity and unit. You can change the quantity in the input field. Click the icon to recalculate the prices.
Article No.	Product reference number assigned by the supplier.
Article Express order	Description of the product. Click on the product name to display detailed product information If an express order is available for the article, the field express order is displayed. By selecting this option you can activate the express order for this item. Note: Additional costs for the express order may be applicable.
Supplier	Supplier name and basic contract name and number.
Outlet	If at least one outlet has been assigned in the basic contract, the icon is displayed next to the product name. If you have the appropriate rights, you can select an outlet from the selection list.
Delivery date	Expected delivery date and standard delivery date, taken from the product data. If no delivery date is available in the product data, the standard delivery date specified in the basic contract is displayed. If a desired delivery date has been entered in the Addresses tab for the basket or the Basket item - Master data tab, this date is displayed and the standard delivery date is displayed in parentheses. Note: The expected delivery date is always calculated on the basis of the current basket. The actual expected delivery date can only be accurately calculated when a purchase order is created, after the request has been approved.
VAT	VAT rate for the item
Single price (EUR)	Net price for the item. If the original price of a product is given in a different currency in the catalog, this currency is also displayed.
Net (EUR)	Net total for the item.
Gross (EUR)	Gross total for the item (only for companies subject to tax).
Tax rate	Tax rates for the basket.
Tax (EUR)	Total tax per tax rate.
Net (EUR)	Net total for all items per tax rate.
Gross (EUR)	Gross total for all items per tax rate (only for companies subject to tax).
Total	Total price, net and gross.
Add freeform product button	Click this icon to add products that are not available in the catalog to the basket. This icon is only displayed if freeform orders are possible for at least one basic contract and you are authorized to create freeform orders. See Adding products not in the catalog to a basket for more information.

Notes

If you have no authorization to view prices, the icon is displayed instead of the price. Further information is displayed in the tooltip.
Totals are not displayed if no price is displayed for at least one item. The icon is displayed instead.
How prices and taxes are displayed depends on tax regulations and corresponding settings in the system. For companies entitled to tax exemptions or reductions, net prices without tax are displayed, for companies subject to tax, net and gross prices are displayed.

Terms and conditions

If terms and conditions of payment have been defined in the basic contract, such as discounts or surcharges, these are displayed in grey text beneath the items. The estimated terms of payment are shown per item and for the basket.
Terms that apply to a single item are shown directly below the item in alphabetical order.
Terms that apply to an entire order or basic contract are shown beneath the items of a basic contract as a separate group, also in alphabetical order.
If the basket is not grouped by basic contract, the terms that apply to a single item are also shown below the individual items and the terms that apply to a basic contract are shown as a separate group beneath all items

Note: Only estimated values are displayed for terms of payment, since it can not be calculated at this point how the individual items of a basic contract will later be grouped together, split up, approved, rejected or ordered. It is assumed that the order will be submitted for the entire basic contract. For this reason, the estimated prices for terms of payment are not included in the totals.
