Instant messages to users

In this dialogue box messages can be sent to users. These appear in the footer area of their pages.

Sending a short message

You can send the short message to the following users:

To all users logged on to all servers.
To all users on a specific server.
To do this select the appropriate server from the list on the right
To just one user.
To do this enter the name or the user name in the adjoining field or call it up.

Message

You enter the message text in the field
By clicking on “Valid” you specify how long the message will appear in the user’s footer
